This is a series based on a technique using Derwent water soluble ink. The process allows the ink to spread organically making uncontrolled shapes that are open to interpretation. The ink floats and expands in dripped water when its poured on the paper, allowing for shading and gradients when it dries into the paper. The "Fake Ink" series provides a painterly outlet for my drawings
